Ultimate Nightclub Photography Equipment List

If I had $3,000 to spend on nightclub photography equipment, this is what I would buy. The equipment below would give me the best deal for the money.

Camera Body: Canon 6D Mark II

The 6D Mark II is one of the newest and most affordable full frame DSLR from Canon. It has over 26 megapixels designed to create high-resolution and detailed images. It has a 3" vari-angle touch screen LCD that makes it easier to shoot from a high or low angle without having to look through the view finder.

Lens: Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM

It's not the fastest lens, but it's more affordable than the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L lens. It's the best multi-purpose lens for a full frame camera. It's wide enough for nightclub photography and gives you a little more in the telephoto side. The image stabilization helps too.

If you need something wider than 24mm, then the Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM would be my lens of choice. It's the most affordable Canon L lens that delivers great quality images. It has internal zooming and focusing so the lens does not get shorter or longer when zooming in or out.

Flash: Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT

Great photography relies on great light, so why not get the best flash for Canon. The flash head can tilt and swivel so it can be bounced off the ceiling or wall. It also has wireless flash shooting support for both radio and optical transmission. I would get two of these so that one will be on the camera and the other would be off the camera.
